Job Openings: Deposit Operations Associate, Jefferson Green Way

Duties:

Role:  

Provide information and assist members who have inquiries about Deposit Services.

Performs various administrative functions related to ACH Services, Share Draft Services, Billing Tree bill pay transactions and Remote Deposit Capture transaction.

Functions and Responsibilities:

• Processes daily exception reports, print and mail NSF notices, fulfill check copy requests, process adjustments for encoding errors. Communications with members concerning transactions; overdrafts, account closings, charges and fees, transfer of funds, etc.
• Process ACH/payroll distributions, Billing Tree (debit/credit card payments), Remote Deposit Capture, process ACH stop payments
• Process service center reports, monthly membership report for the Board of Directors meeting
• Process check orders, reconcile check printer statement.  Enter and verify outgoing wire transfers.
• Provide backup to other Deposit Operations team members as needed.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to member inquiry emails.  Cross selling Credit Union services.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
• Education: A high school education or GED.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation.
• Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
